Before buying a travel eSIM, confirm your phone supports it. This is the most up-to-date list of eSIM-compatible devices as of March 2026.
Important: Even if your phone model supports eSIM, it must also be carrier-unlocked. Carrier-locked phones may block eSIM installation even though the hardware supports it. Contact your carrier to verify.

How to check your phone
The quickest way to verify eSIM support on your specific device:
- iPhone: Go to Settings → General → About. Look for "Available SIM" or "Digital SIM" (IMEI2).
- Android: Go to Settings → About Phone. Look for "EID" — if it shows a long number, your phone supports eSIM.
- Universal: Dial *#06# on your phone. If an EID number appears alongside your IMEI, eSIM is supported.
Carrier lock check: Even with eSIM hardware support, a carrier-locked phone may block eSIM. Call your carrier and ask: "Is my phone unlocked for use with other carriers and eSIM?" Get confirmation before purchasing a travel eSIM.
